TOC Europe – the AGM for global ports and terminals will return in 2021 from 7-9 September, and after what has been a year unlike no other, will provide the industry with a long overdue chance to meet, learn and do business – both in-person, and virtually.
“The venue is confirmed and dates are set as 7-9 September, and the TOC team and I cannot wait to welcome the industry back to Rotterdam next year” said Paul Holloway, Event Direct at TOC Events Worldwide.
“We are delighted that we will be able to continue our support to organisations from across the container supply chain, and allow them to recalibrate, recover, and re-imagine their business models following the massive global disruptions of 2020.”
TOC Europe is planning a truly dynamic return, with digital at the heart of the event’s re-invigorated format.
Last taking place in 2019 and attracting over 4,000 participants, TOC Europe 2021 will draw upon a luminary speaker lineup representing leading port authorities, terminal operators, innovative equipment manufacturers, the startup community and more, and will also welcome hundreds of attendees also online, blending the best of in-person and virtual experiences for a truly global attendance.
The event’s conference sessions will also be delivered through TOC’s new innovative ‘Bitesize agenda’ – covering 12 core themes, allowing attendees to mix and match individual sessions to create a personalised agenda, maximising precious time and adding even more value to their visit.
TOC Events are also delighted to announce that our new floorplan is ready to download, and still features a multitude of visitor attractions and opportunities to enable exhibitors to network and showcase their products, and visitors to get the most from their attendance.
Designed with safety at its heart, we are proud to share details of “Informa AllSecure” – a detailed protocol of measures developed collaboratively with industry associations, event organisers and venues, along with input from health, government and local authorities in order to provide the highest levels of hygiene and safety.
“The safety and wellbeing of our guests is at the forefront of our in-person event planning,” commented Paul Holloway. “All Informa Markets events around the world, regardless of format or location, follow the Informa AllSecure protocol. Therefore, attendees can expect temperature screenings at entry, mask and physical distancing requirements as directed by local and government guidance both on the show floor and in public spaces, as well as continuous sanitisation and deep cleaning measures. These are just a few of the rigorous protocols that will be followed to keep our attendees safe in 2021.”
(Please note that in the event of the pandemic situation improving, TOC Events will look to reduce certain measures in accordance with local guidelines)
As well as the exciting return to the live show, TOC in 2021 will also be releasing an innovative programme of monthly content building up to the big return in September.
With 2020 witnessing an explosion of digital content uptake including webinars, reports, virtual events, video and podcasts, TOC will continue to build upon its extensive line-up released this year, all aiming to deliver inspiring insights and cutting edge research for FREE to the industry as it looks to recovery in 2021 , starting with our first webinar in January – “Changing HSSE in Ports & Terminals.”
