Please tell us a little about your company and what you will be showcasing at TOC Europe 2024

Fogmaker International is a leading manufacturer of fire suppression systems for vehicles, machines, and other enclosed spaces. At TOC, we will show our products with an emphasis on electric vehicles, and talk about how to suppress fires in those both efficiently and sustainably with our environmentally friendly and PFAS-free liquid, Eco 1.

Who are you hoping to meet?

The Fogmaker system protects lives, lowers the risk of downtime associated with a fire, and reduces the risk of losing assets to fire. We would love to meet decision makers responsible for site safety.

Why is the European market so important to you?

Being a Swedish company, Europe is our home market. Safety-wise, Europe often leads the way and serves as a role model for other areas.

What are your plans, goals and ambitions for the rest of 2024 and beyond?

To grow market shares in the Ports and Terminal segment. It is important for us to reach decision makers and show how we can increase safety and lower risks associated with fires.

Could you provide an overview of your company’s current sustainability initiatives related to ports and terminals?

Fogmaker International uses a PFAS-free suppressant, Eco 1, which is environmentally friendly and GreenScreen Certified™ at the silver level. This means that a third party has approved all the substances in the liquid from both an environmental and a health perspective. At the same time, Eco 1 has excellent fire suppressing qualities and has passed fire tests without having to increase system sizes. The system is designed to be re-used and re-filled, and lasts throughout the lifetime of the protected unit.

Why do you consider it important to be at TOC Europe?

TOC is an important venue for meeting ports and manufacturers.

What message do you have for the TOC community who will be in Rotterdam?

Electric vehicles and machines are entering the port industry, and we receive many questions about the risks for battery fires. Fogmaker has been suppressing fires since 1995 and there are more than 300,000 systems installed around the world. We have a long history from the automotive industry where electrification has already come a long way, and we have the experience and understand the needs and challenges of electric machines.
